Based in and around Colchester, a small town located in the deep estuary wilds of the Colne Valley, North Essex, The Colne Valley Mini Wheelers Club is a not-so secret society with the aim of providing somewhere for fully grown men and women to ride around together on ludicriously small bicycles.
Amongst our ranks are Moultons, Raleigh Twentys and Bromptons, but we don't discriminate as long as your bike is rolling on wheels smaller than 20 inches. If it wasn't clear already, we don't take ourselves terribly seriously so if you'd like to join our ranks or come along for a ride then be sure to get in touch!
We're lucky enough to have Re~Cycle here in Colchester who regularly get donations of suitable candidates. We can fully recommend starting your mini wheeler collection with one of their bikes as your money will be going to a fantastic cause.
Chapeau!

Moulton DeluxeInfo
The Deluxe is my first and favourite Moulton from the fleet. The suspension is better than you will find on any modern MTB. The only mechanical I have had is a slight issue with the forks. Most definitely a head turner - the Moulton, not me. I also ride a Moulton Mini fixed wheel conversion, and a bonkers multi-coloured Moulton. A Raleigh 20 is also part of my mini wheel obsession.

Raleigh StowawayInfo
I bought the Stowaway as a cheap bike to commute on (to the Station then across London). I knew I wanted a project to tinker with and upgrade as I'd been looking at all the sexy Twenty's online and loved the look. It's been a great investment, I'm thinking I might sell the other bikes and just keep this (if I can solve the regular puncture problem). I bought the bike super cheap and as expected it's cost me an arm and a leg so far and is going to cost the other arm and leg before I've finished, but it's a fun bike so let's 'roll with it'!

Raleigh TwentyInfo
I ride a Raleigh Twenty and it's my first foray into the mini wheeler market after a long love affair with roadies. I think I can honestly say it's the most fun i've ever had on two wheels although it's due quite a bit of TLC, a rolling project you might say. Inspired by Jason, i'm currently looking for a Moulton as a suitable candidate for something a little bit different to ride along side this.

Raleigh StowawayInfo
Having spent a number of years riding my Brompton across London and into taxis, pedestrians and assorted flora and fauna I have picked up a Raleigh Stowaway. Initially intended to be a beater bike to leave at the station I am already planning lavish upgrades including moustache bars, a Brooks saddle and a coaster brake hub. In troubled times like these what could be a better investment than vintage British steel?

Apollo WayfarerInfo
My mum bought me this bike from the PDSA in Colchester super cheap. It came with two pumps, one with 'MAMA' scrawled on it in pen. That's why I decided to call the bike Mama - after my Mum and the mysterious pump. It's a complete joy to ride. It has three gears. Just enough to get me up the hills and allow me to poodle around town. Plus it folds (crudely) and allowed me to store it at work. Overall Mama is a real beaut!

Meet Don 'the Kingpin' Mini wheeler in honour of two time murderer and illegal bookmaker who brought us 'Rumble in the Jungle' and the 'Thrilla in Manila'.
This rust bucket is about to get pimped.
